Complaints Box Nigeria Breaks Record with 1month Tweetathon

     Customer service is a serious issue in Nigeria. Everyday, someone experiences a bad customer service; from telecommunications companies, to the market woman at the market, down to the banks, eateries, bus conductors - really in Nigeria, bad customer service is everywhere. Its the reason you go on social media and see all sorts of complaints. Its like these service and products providers forget that without us the customers, they will run out of business. 

     Well, in attempt to curb this issue and educate the general public on everything 'customer service', Complaints Box Nigeria has come to give voice to your complaints about poor Customer service in Nigeria and help seek redress. (They are doing a great job already...check their twitter timeline).

    For the whole month of February 2016, Complaints Box had a 1 Month (One whole month, Feb 1st to 29th, no day missed!!) Tweetathon on Consumer Deserves Better on Twitter.
 

     With the Hash Tag #Customerdeservesbeta on their twitter handle @complaintsboxng; Alibaba, Jimi Tewe, Abiola Salami, Ihotu Amuta, Segun Manuel, Bankole Williams, Charly Boy, Chunu Teajay, Demola Olarewaju, Laurie Idahosa, Sega Awosanya, Olamire Flowers, Alex Osagie, Emeka Nobis, Richard Chillee, Treasure Kalu, Mojisola Adebanjo, Israel Raphael, Milton Tutu, Gabriel Olatunji, Mmamti Umoh,  Kingsley Ogbiti and Sam Obafemi amongst many others tweeted their customer service experience and expectations in Nigeria.
   
    As a mattter of Fact, this event is a record breaker in Nigeria, because this is the first time in Nigeria that a tweetathon was held on a particular topic consistently for one month. Indeed the Nigerian Customer deserves better.

  1. Oh!! I loveee how i can be reading a long list of great ghen ghen names yeah.. and i can just confidently but discretely sneak in the FUTURE i.e Duru Adolphus Jnr right inbetween those names.. the feeling is surreal :)

  2. Very interesting story and example of bad customer experience. Unfortunately, as for me, bad customer experience is a big issue not only for Nigeria:( I bet that everyone encounters impolite support agents.

  4. I think Union bank is the most improved organization in Nigeria when it comes to good customer service. They wowed me when I visited them recently.

  5. I know one place I will not get bad customer service and that is at UNION BANK. Smart and efficient Banking resides with UNION BANK. The folks over there are giving Banking in Nigeria a smart new face...
