RANDOM MUSINGS!

Its been forever. I'm sorry I haven't written since. I have a million excuses but none is reason enough - as no matter how busy we are we should always find time for that which we have committed to.
Well... Right now, I'm just going to talk - to gist... I don't have that one in mind so I would just write as it pops in my head.
WARNING! This could be a very confusing post. You may find rants, silly questions, non relating subjects in same paragraphs, random gist, or lessons.... So just try and go with flow but keep in mind, Its from a clustered confused highly sensible mind.
----------------------------------
I feel like I'm writing this post just to break the silence on here or maybe I feel writing - no matter the content - will bring writing back for me. I'm not sure if it's writer's block or the inability to focus my thoughts as I have a zillion and more things going on in my head, in my life -responsibilities -, and its all seeming to cluster or maybe its just that I have not made the effort to sit down, zoom out and zoom in or maybe because I have been trying to put stuffs in place in my responsibilities areas and so I dropped writing and settled for idea development and work progression and uhm table clearing (what am I saying?).

Learn to Waste resources...Its for the greater good. Trust me!

I'm on Industrial training at 7up Bottling company, Benin Plant. I work in the quality control department - doing plenty test and analysis at practically all stage of production just to make sure we don't give the citizens of Edo state bad beverage. Its been fun, well at first it was fun, i was curious to know how to do all the tests and what happens in the various stages of production but now that i know alot, i'm getting really bored of the routine and damn! The struggle to get out of bed in the mornings ain't funny but all in all, in the few weeks I have been there, I have Learnt one viable lesson - HOW TO WASTE!

Here's the gist:

Living with the conciousness of Grace.

2PET1:2-9 (TLT)
Do you want more and more of God’s kindness and peace? Then learn to know him better and better. For as you know him better, he will give you, through his great power, everything you need for living a truly good life: he even shares his own glory and his own goodness with us! And by that same mighty power he has given us all the other rich and wonderful blessings he promised; for instance, the promise to save us from the lust and rottenness all around us, and to give us his own character.
But to obtain these gifts, you need more than faith; you must also work hard to be good, and even that is not enough. For then you must learn to know God better and discover what he wants you to do. Next, learn to put aside your own desires so that you will become patient and godly, gladly letting God have his way with you. This will make possible the next step, which is for you to enjoy other people and to like them, and finally you will grow to love them deeply. The more you go on in this way, the more you will grow strong spiritually and become fruitful and useful to our Lord Jesus Christ. But anyone who fails to go after these additions to faith is blind indeed, or at least very short-sighted and has forgotten that God delivered him from the old life of sin so that now he can live a strong, good life for the Lord.

Don't run with speed

A few days ago, a friend brought a scripture up for us to discuss (Darlington, God bless you.) And while we were discussing it, I just knew I was going to write my thoughts on it here. For reasons unknown to me I have been postponing it (do you know I used to spell postpone as prospone? Thank God for dictionary and auto correct o), but my mind hasn't stopped brooding on it since and so, here I am, about to type away lessons learned from Heb12:1. Enjoy....

Ask for help!!!

Do you remember what life was likefore Google Maps and smartphones?
Think back to when you were travelling to a destination you had never been before. You would've had some directions prior to setting out. However, 7 times out of 10 you'd still stop a complete stranger and ask for directions just to make sure your on the right path or because the directions and your current location weren't quite matching up. Most of the people you stopped and asked for directions probably hadn't even been to your destination but they were familiar with the area making it possible to give enough guidance to at least get you to the next checkpoint.

I cried on Sunday

I cried on Sunday.
I was in church and during a ministration,  I went on my knees and tears began to pour. I remember thinking after service that there's hardly anytime i go to God's presence 'with an open and expectant heart' and I don't end up crying.
When I was still an infant in a Christ, i used to cry because i felt guilty for my sins. I'd weep, apologising to God, promising not to do it again (hehehe) and then when I felt better I'd start calling him sweet names and asking him to provide and protect but these day's when i go before God, i don't cry because I feel dirty but because He loves me. I know I'm not there yet, I'm still very very imperfect but I tend to focus on His love instead of my guilt and that purifies me more than any apology. Everytime I focus on God and how much he loves me, I just don't do the things I know wouldn't please him but when I focus on my imperfections and begin to 'try' to do good, I fail.
