Loving God

○All things work °together° for good to them that LOVE God (Rom 8:28)
○Ears have not heard, eyes have not seen, no heart has conceived what God has in store for those that LOVE Him and °work according to His purpose°. (1cor 2:9)
I wager that you noticed the similarity between the two scriptures above is 'The love of God' (Both scriptures are promises that applies to only those that Love God).

My thoughts on Choice!

°"The picture you paint as you go through life is your creation because God leads but you choose ultimately"°
☆God gives the raw materials, He deposits in us those things that make us unique (i.e. Our likes, dislikes, abilities, gifts and talents etc) and then He leaves us to choose how to workout/use these individualistic attributes, i believe that's why no two people can make of their lives the exact same thing and live it exactly the same way.

Excellence!!!

"Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well" This sentence has gradually become a cliche and until a few days ago I was one of those who knew of this sentence but didnt fully comprehend it. I've heard it a million and more times but I've only just heard it - it never sunk until I finally grasp the core of the message few days ago.

Now, I understand that in life, one thing leads to other things hence if you do one thing well, you'd get the opportunity to do other things.
No matter how little and insignificant something may look, if you are going to do it then let it be done excellently because that one little thing can open big doors if it was done well.
Only when you do the small well would you be trusted to do big things.  Even the bible says in Luke 16:10 that 'He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much' (KJV)

So, whatever you do, do it well (you never know where that BIG Opportunity will spring up from).

Let excellence show in all you do. As Sons of The Amighty, our Light should shine always that people will see our works (see the creativity,  the originality, the excellence) and give glory to our Father in Heaven.

...Let your light sooooooooooooooo shine.
...If you are going to do it, do it well.

Moment of Reflection

A time should come in everyone's life where they sit and reflect on the past, the present and the future. That point where you tell yourself the hard truths, accept it and work ahead. That moment when you dissect the situations/circumstances in your life, then drop the things that you need to, pick the lessons, gather strength, make appropriate amends, lean on God and move Ahead.
Recently I came to that time in my life.
Life was choking, It seemed like every stage of my existence had to be a battlefield, it looked like I was walking in circles, emotions were in chaos and so I took my life in my hands and made my choices.
I took time out alone, sat on the floor, crossed my legs and began to reflect on my life.

Projector screen

If your life was put on a projector screen and played for the world to see, what would people see?
If your thoughts are voiced out, what would we hear?
Would your life at the moment bless someone?
Would anyone be inspired, motivated by the way you live?

JAM Summit '14

About a year ago, My campus fellowship in
school was preparing to travel to Lagos for a program called JAM summit (a camp where the campus family of Church of God Mission Int'l in Nigeria, leave their various campuses and come together to fellowship) but while everyone was preparing for the summit, I was relatively indifferent about it. Thing is, it hadn't been long since I joined the fellowship and so I couldn't relate with the euphoria that aroused whenever the term JAM SUMMIT was mentioned in church.
March 27th 2013, the Departure day came. I escorted my friend to the park where the bus was waiting for them, and even as I saw the Joy in the faces of those leaving for the program, I still didn't get it.
Later that evening, I went on twitter and my TL was spammed with tweets about arrival day at JAM summit '13.

Staying above your challenges

A million times I have asked myself how I went back to those things that keeps me from enjoying Christ. A lot of times I wonder how challenges/temptations I had once overcome can resurface and hook me down.
I use to think that once you overcome something, it's done and dusted. I thought none of the issues that God has helped me deal with can ever come up again and then make me struggle.
Well, in a lot of ways I was wrong but out of my ignorance God has brought forth wisdom. Now I know better and now, I want to share what I have learnt.
